The Walnut Flagship Cajón is a sonic wonder. The solid wood body of this version of the popular Nautilus Flagship cajón is made of one continuous piece of walnut wood, giving this cajón its incomparable tone. I have found walnut to be an extraordinary cajón making wood. The dimensions of this cajón are 19” tall x 14” wide, by 15” deep. It has two different sounding tapas with the sound hole to the side. One tapa is a fully glued “pure tone head” and the other is a partially screwed “slap head”. The slap head has snares which are adjustable and fully mutable.
