The Padouk Flagship Cajon is a stunning solid wood version of the popular Nautilus Flagship cajon. The body of this cajon is made of one solid continuous piece of padouk wood, giving this cajon its incomparable tone. Padouk is known to be an excellent drum making wood and is used to make marimbas in Africa. The dimensions of this cajon are 19” tall x 14” wide, by 15” deep. It has two different sounding tapas with the sound hole to the side. One tapa is a fully glued “pure tone head” and the other is a partially screwed “slap head”. The slap head has snares which are adjustable and fully mutable.
