There are many fine educational resources for cajon players to choose from these days, including hundreds of instructional videos on youtube and elsewhere. As I believe that cajon can and will grow far beyond where it has ventured so far in the world of music, I highly reccomend taking up the study of cajon with an open mind and adventurous spirit. See if you can find a suitable teacher, but also don't be afraid to be your own teacher and disciplinarian to get your self on track learning something and practicing every day.

There are many online teachers. Join the open facebook group "Cajon Forum" or any of the other cajon related open groups on facebook.com and you should be able to find an online teacher or a teacher in your area to get you started.
